When Should A Female Consult The Gynecologist?

In our country, women issues are not easily discovered at the initial stage. The basic reason for this is the fact that women usually tend to hide such problems as long as it does become unbearable or unmanageable for them. Sometimes, even though they know they are grappling from some issue within, they do not consult the gynecologist in Delhi immediately. As a result, most women see the doctor when the condition has already taken a grave form. Hence It is strongly recommended to consult a reputed gynecologist in your area you know and discuss the problem and issues with them.
What is a gynecologist?
A gynecologist is a doctor who is clinically expert and specializes in women's health. She primarily focuses on the female reproductive system. A gynecologist looks after a variety of female issues, such as pregnancy and childbirth or obstetrics, menstruation, infertility problems, hormone disorders, sexually transmitted diseases or infections (STDs & STIs) and more.
In order to become a gynecologist, a person requires to study for four years as a doctor. After this, they need to further specialize for another four years in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. They also go through some more examination to become board certified and registered.
When to see a gynecologist?
Although you can visit a gynecologist at any time, even though you are healthy. It is so because a regular screening or check-up will keep and disease or disorder at bay. However, a woman can consult a gynecologist when she has any concern and issue with vulvar, pelvic or vaginal pain or experiencing any abnormal bleeding from the uterus.
Some of the conditions or issues where gynecologist consultation becomes essential include:

• For screening, evaluation and taking the right advice on certain female health issues.
• Issues regarding fertility and pregnancy.

At what age should I start visiting a gynecologist?
Although a gynecologist in North Delhi can see the female diseases and disorder of any age. However, the recommended age to visit a gynecologist is the age of 13 to 15 years. Consulting a gynecologist is not all about getting treatment for the ongoing condition, it is more like building a relationship with the doctor so that whether it is a girl or women, she feels more comfortable in asking the questions regarding sexuality, menstruation, pregnancy, fertility and several other female health-related issues.
